Product of the Week: Caddies from Really Good Stuff

Really good stuff has amazing things for organization. In a lot of ways, the more organized you are, the more independent your child can be.  These are one my favorite products for my classroom.

These awesome caddies can hold lots of different materials. In my classroom, I usually use them for markers, pencils, glue sticks, and crayons. You can use them for any art/writing materials that usually end up all over your tables or floors. Teaching your child to clean up after themselves is very important to help them become more independent across a variety of settings. They are small, bright, light weight, and easy to move and store.

Heres how to help your child use these independently:

1. Use picture icons on each compartment, to show them where each material goes.

2. Agree on a spot in your child’s room where the caddy should be stored (you can even cut out a small circle of the same color construction paper or a picture of the caddy and put it on a counter in the room)

3. Hold them accountable- If you see a pencil in the marker bin, point it out to them. This will give them some feedback about your expectations.

These caddies will help you tremendously. Let us know if you have any other ideas on how to use these awesome caddies.
